Pronunciation?

edit

How is this pronounced? "Decay dance" or "decadence"? --Piroteknix 08:07, 14 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Im almost positive thats its pronounced "Decay-dance"... I saw it somewhere on an interview. If I can find the video, I will put it up here for confirmation. Archie325 (talk) 22:05, 13 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Does Traivs and Patrick really own the vanity label? I thought it was only Pete. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.194.236.133 (talk) 01:57, 16 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

It's really pronounced "decay-dince" at least that's what they said on the mixtape... (Chazzmcspazz (talk) 00:27, 22 January 2009 (UTC))Reply

The Cab

edit

It really seems like The Cab should have their own page. I'd be willing to help with it if someone was going to start putting one together, but I wouldn't know enough about them nor enough about creating pages to create it entirely by myself. Does anyone think The Cab should have their own page as well? -- Riyukko ( talk/contribs) 07:02, 4 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Mixtape

edit

Is anyone planning on adding the mixtape "Welcome to the New Administration" on here? I mean isn't it a Decaydance Records mix tape? I'll add it if no one else wants to. Mygerardromance (talk) 16:21, 28 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Millionaires disagreement

edit

Ok, I'm confused. According to Millionaires MySpace they are signed to Decaydance, but this page strictly says that they aren't. I don't get it.

    • The label still released the EP, pressed physical copies and is marketing the digital version. You can buy it from Decaydance's website. [1] There needn't be an ongoing contract; any release is sufficient for them to be in an artist list. (Some labels don't "sign" anyone, opting instead to do one-off deals for individual albums.) Chubbles (talk) 01:29, 26 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
      • The current artists roster implies currently signed artists. Millionaires is not signed to Decaydance[2]. Therefore they do not belong on the list. If you claim that artists releasing material on a label constitutes being an artist of the label, that means that because Never Shout Never's first two EP's were released through Doghouse Records, he is signed to Doghouse Records and/or an artist of that label. That isn't true. --Russ is the sex (talk) 19:06, 27 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
        • If that is the case, then Nevershoutnever absolutely should be listed on the Doghouse page. The link you provided explicitly states "We’re actually just releasing our EP on Decaydance". It's incontrovertible that Decaydance released this EP, and regardless of the terms of Millionaires' contract (which we are not party to and would be WP:OR anyway), that is justification for them to be mentioned, somewhere, on this page. If you are unhappy with their being in a "list of signed artists", then we can create a new section for distribution. Chubbles (talk) 19:42, 27 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

DCD2 Records

edit

Decaydance is now officially changed to DCD2 Records, so the article name needs to be changed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hayhayler (talkcontribs) 21:23, 17 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to 2 external links on DCD2 Records. Please take a moment to review my edit.
