Helpful study guide
Editors can find a credible amount of help from Cooler, Dr. Richard M. (Last updated: 11/02/09). "THE ART AND CULTURE OF BURMA Introduction" (Illustrated study guide). The art and culture of Burma. SEAsite, Center for Southeast Asian Studies, Northern Illinois University. Retrieved 6:17 PM 1/20/2011. The purpose of this on-line study-guide and course-outline is to make text and visual materials on the arts of Burma readily and inexpensively available, in particular to students and teachers.

Korean and Japanese influenced
I have now twice removed unsupported assertions of Korean influence on (traditional) Burmese culture. Given the enormous distance between the two countries, this is an extraordinary claim that would require extraordinary evidence. So far no evidence has been presented at all. -- Visviva (talk) 04:55, 16 March 2011 (UTC)
Is this article really about the culture of Burma?
Burma is composed of many ethnic groups and Bamar is being the majority among them. I think almost the entire article is about Bamar's culture, rather than Burmese or Myanmarese culture which I think is what the article is referring to. I suggest to put a notice on the front of the article about that this article does not represent other distint ethnic cultures from Burma until cultures of different ethnic groups are represented here. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Crackstein (talk • contribs) 15:49, 16 May 2013 (UTC)
