Citations
editDoes anybody else think this page either needs citations on things like the "slogan" section and the "hall of fame" section or needs to be heavily edited? The way it is now it just looks like someone vandalized the site and added a bunch of "facts" that they made up. HotOne121 (talk) 17:59, 8 July 2008 (UTC)
- I fixed references and some citations...holler if there is more to be done.
Lacking information
editThis article seems to be missing some information. For instance, there seems to be no mention at all of the Cub Foods stores that were in the Milwaukee area for many years, as well as other areas. Is it that the information isn't notable enough to be in the article? Gamesoul Master (talk) 06:30, 9 May 2012 (UTC)
It appears that Delhaize Group operated the Southeast Cub Foods locations in 1985, and closed or divested them in 2001. (per Delhaize's website at http://www.delhaizegroup.com/en/Home/OurHistory.aspx) Leuqarte (talk) 16:43, 19 July 2012 (UTC)
gas discount incorrect
editI purchased gas from Holiday on Sunday 1/25 and got 5 cents off. My purchase from cub on Saturday said that I should get .20 off and it expired 1.26 the day after I purchased the gas. What happened? Irene Helland Blossom_courtney@yahoo.com — Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.225.131.141 (talk) 22:30, 26 January 2015 (UTC)

Under fire for overpricing
editCub has developed a reputation for extreme markup of goods across the board, when compared to similar markets and is now considered to be the most expensive grocery store in the Twin Cities, surpassing even Lunds and Byerly's in many items. Information about this is available all over the net, for example: https://www.ebitdacatalyst.com/how-not-to-raise-grocery-prices-cub-foods-out-of-touch-in-twin-cities/ — Preceding unsigned comment added by 135.134.38.70 (talk) 19:01, 2 March 2023 (UTC)
