powerpop
editok this is not powerpop its powerful but its not powerpop, it seems that pop songs cant be powerful without being labbeled power pop —Preceding unsigned comment added by Thrice34 (talk • contribs) 20:33, 20 February 2008 (UTC)
- most of the album it is taken from is power pop according to sources. I think the single genres are usually taken from that as citations for individual songs are difficult. --neonwhite user page talk 03:31, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
how is crushcrushcrush pop punk (punk pop) i see pop rock and Emo is reasonable, and its like a pop song, but i just dont see the punk side of it

I agree about this song's genre characterization. I don't know about the other songs on this album. But there is NOTHING punk about this song's music, specifically. Compare the music sound to a real, undeniably punk band like Bad Religion or Ramones. This would be alternative rock, or maybe even emo. 76.91.80.98 (talk) 04:37, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
Capital letter
editThere seems to be some differing opinions of whether "crushcrushcrush" should be capitalized or not. I believe that, as the official website and the back of the album cover art show that it's lowercase, that's how it should be displayed. If you disagree and think it SHOULD be capitalized, let's discuss it here. For the sake of consistency, I will keep it lowercase for now. Please discuss before reverting all changes. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Closetoeuphoria (talk • contribs) 15:07, 15 October 2009 (UTC)
- The same situation as with Brand New Eyes, WP:MOSTM says the first letter should be capitalised and mere style changes should be ignored for the sake of clarity and consistency. I don't see why people make a big deal out of such small issues. Instead of making a big deal out of this, how about we jsut change it back and instead, spend our time improving the BNE article, eh? :) k.i.a.c (talktome - contribs) 16:04, 15 October 2009 (UTC)
