Crunchyroll SAS → Crunchyroll EMEA – The current article describes Crunchyroll's business in Europe as a whole, rather than the business of Crunchyroll SAS, which is the French subsidiary of Crunchyroll. Kaze Germany, Anime on Demand, Eye See Movies, and AV Visionen are not subsidiaries of Crunchyroll SAS (as listed on the article currently), but are instead subsidiaries of Crunchyroll SA, a Crunchyroll subsidiary based in Switzerland (formerly Viz Media Switzerland) (see impressum). As such, I think it is better to have the page as Crunchyroll EMEA to encompass Crunchyroll's European business as a whole, rather than titling it the French subsidiary Crunchyroll SAS, which technically only encompasses the French-speaking business, and excludes Crunchyroll SA, who owns those companies/brands that I just listed. As for the title, Crunchyroll uses the name "Crunchyroll EMEA" in the original press release of their rebrand.
If anybody is confused by what I mean, the German Wikipedia article for Crunchyroll has a chart which may help explain how the company is structured. In showing this though, I am not using this as evidence, rather I am using this to help clarify my point. tenshibeat (talk|contribs) 08:20, 19 June 2021 (UTC)
- Support per nom. This seems like a reasonable and well-thought proposal. BD2412 T 01:03, 8 July 2021 (UTC)
