Merger proposal
editIt just doesn't seem like the History of Sask. Courts Article should be its own article. Any extra information in that article should properly be put into this one. 99.250.11.7 (talk) 04:23, 22 November 2008 (UTC)
- I'd support the merger proposal, though not because I agree that the history element doesn't deserve its own article; more that there isn't really enough history to discuss. Masalai (talk) 05:50, 5 March 2009 (UTC)
- I agree that it should be merged. It's creating a mess of the "Courts of Canada" table. Besides, other court articles include history sections, as in Court of Queen's Bench of Alberta, Court of Appeal of Alberta, Supreme Court of the Northwest Territories, and most other court articles list past justices. - The merge template has been on the article for over two-and-a-half years. I have been WP:BOLD and carried out the merge. Agent 86 (talk) 13:57, 28 June 2011 (UTC)
"Justices of the Court"
editIs it not possible to have such section for the article on the Court of Queen's Bench as for the Court of Appeal? Masalai (talk) 07:13, 29 January 2012 (UTC)
- •It would be possible, but it would be much longer, since there are many more justices of the QB than the Court of Appeal. Mr Serjeant Buzfuz (talk) 07:21, 29 January 2012 (UTC)
- Then perhaps at least the Chief Justices of the Court of Queen's Bench from its establishment (and perhaps its predecessor) through today? Despite the relatively limited scope of litigation in Saskatchewan compared to other provinces, there have been several fascinating and talented people in that position.
