Categories. The placement of Category:Elementary schools in the United States has some logic, but more thought on it is needed. For instance, will we know say every virtual school goes in the national category (and in some cases global). This could get to be huge. Also, there's a risk, once we allow articles in the national sparkle (this is the only one), that will encourage other school articles to go there. Perhpas all these virtual schools belong in their own category. --Rob 08:13, 20 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

CSD tag

edit

I'm not sure how this reads as an advert. The article has been greatly cleaned up since an advert tag was placed on it over a year ago. From what I can tell the article describes the school, and does nto have any advertising lingo in it. Wildthing61476 15:19, 22 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

School Barometer?

I removed it, as it's unsourced. tedder (talk) 07:25, 13 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Neutrality Dispute

edit

The article has a neutrality dispute tag, and say that there's discussion here as to why. There doesn't seem to be any discussion, aside from possible the CSD tag piece above, which is currently unanswered after 2+ years. Which parts are in dispute? I added it, but didn't add text. Sorry. The main issue is that the article needs to be balanced. I removed much of the advertish prose, but there is not much left now. Perhaps the tag could be removed and replaced with {{expand}}. tedder (talk) 06:06, 20 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

The text has been updated by the Director of Online Marketing at Connections Academy with a request to remove the neutrality dispute as there is nothing but very basic facts here now. --MClarkOLM (talk) 16:35, 28 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

I completely changed what you added. It's nice to have the list of schools, but adding so many external links isn't very good (see WP:ELOFFICIAL). Please help by adding only content that doesn't conflict with Wikipedia's Conflict of Interest policy. One thing you could add are the locations of the schools. tedder (talk) 17:00, 28 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Great suggestion and thanks for your help...I think the dispute can be removed as well now. --MClarkOLM (talk) 20:53, 28 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Removed, but keeping the 'primary sources' tag. tedder (talk) 21:51, 28 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

The source that you point to appears to be a blog (and thus inadmissible under WP:RS). If the organisation has changed its name then presumably there will be better quality sources to support that having occurred. Axad12 (talk) 04:33, 14 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
