In regards to you declining of this draft, I disagree with your assessment that this draft does not meet GNG.
I accept your issue with the past production section, I feel all the other sections do make this draft meet GNC. The Noda awards the Congleton Players have won, the shared one act plays award with Seimans and the Seimans in the community award.
Surly those help with meeting GNC. And the NODA awards in the article are only the ones I have a source for, so the Congleton Players may have won more NODA awards then I’ve listed.
I am willing to cut the past productions sections down to just the important performances.
These being:
The first production: Polly with a Past (25-28 1936)
The last production at the old players hall: Night Must Fall March 1978)
The first production at Daneside Theatre: Curtain Up (3-6 October 1984)
First off, we are referring to WP:GNG, the general notability guideline. GNC sells supplements.
If you want this draft to be accepted, you need to demonstrate the theater group has significant coverage in multiple reliable independent secondary sources. Not just trivial or routine mentions (and reviews of plays are routine). Awards do not automatically make a theater group notable (and I see no indication a NODA award is something extraordinary); otherwise I could write an article about my high school theater program which won awards at the state level while I was a member. GNG asks for multiple examples of significant coverage. Please show me your best three sources. With that said, please be accepting of the reality that this theater group likely has no notability of its own, and should be incorporated into the Daneside Theatre article. Question could I use Hansard as proof of notability in this talk section? I'm not sure if I can use it in the article. By the way I'm not giving it as one of my best three yet, this is just a question to check if I can use it in this talk section. Maurice Oly (talk) 22:48, 18 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
