Confusing
editThis article makes no sense. Is it a list? If so, of what? If it's an article, what's it about? Where are the references? Why does the lead paragraph make no sense? Why is the contents split into 16 Provinces? Why aren't Provinces mentioned in the text? Are we all simply expected to know this? Why does this page state there are 618 communes, whilst the Municipalities of Angola page (which actually contains a reference) state there are only 559?
Not knowing anything about Angola, but seeing vast numbers of tiny stubs at WP:NPP being created by Shevonsilva, my attention was drawn here. Might I suggest the following intro sentence would be more helpful, for starters:
- The Communes of Angola (Portuguese: comunas) are administrative subdivisions of the 163 municipalities of Angola. Within Angola there are a total of 618 communes, as at 2018.[citation needed] Communes are run by ... History ... Size... Designation... Elections...
And why are there two nearly identical categories for the same thing?:
Hope this helps, Nick Moyes (talk) 01:14, 2 June 2018 (UTC)
- yes, this is badly constructed article even though there is a value. There were a hell of a lot of spelling mistakes with Portuguese wordings. I was very tired of correcting it and inserting Citation needed templates. We have to improve it. Thanks. 01:23, 2 June 2018 (UTC)
