Does not serve a city?
editIn the article it states that London City Hall does not serve a city. But isn't all of the boroughs of London as a whole considered a city like New York City?
City Hall does mean Town Hall
editI think City Hall does mean Town Hall - the London Boroughs have Town Halls - the previous GLC/LCC building was called County Hall - but the LCC was a county.
It would be confusing to call the GLA HQ a Town Hall as each borough has a town hall. The GLA is based in City Hall the building performs the fucntion of the Town Hall, for the GLA. Secretlondon 10:44, Nov 13, 2003 (UTC)
A guide in London said that two million pounds had been spent on an pr-agency to find a good and recognizable name for the building, and the result was "City Hall". The city hall's structure is its true beauty.

Construction cost
editDoes anyone know the construction cost of the building, or the lease paid by the GLA? --JensMueller (talk) 18:13, 22 March 2008 (UTC)
City Hall Resembles . . .
editI think the London City Hall bears resemblance to a human heart, which makes sense metaphorically as the heart of Greater London. Anyone else care to share their opinions?
New Picture
editI feel this picture would very nicely replace one of the pictures in the article or complement the article. It shows the shard in the background since it is newer than the most picture used in the article and it shows the green besides the city hall and the thames sidewalk in front of it with a nice blue sky. It is my picture and I don't want to edit the article in favour of my pictures if others here don't agree with it.--Sevku (talk) 12:32, 7 March 2014 (UTC)
