The article currently claims that Oxenberg is the third cousin of Charles III. Based on ancestry information in this article and that of Charles, it appears that they do share common ancestors. Charles is the great grandson of George I of Greece and Grand Duchess Olga Constantinovna of Russia whereas Oxenberg is the great great granddaughter of the same couple. This would make Oxenberg and Charles second cousins once removed, not third cousins, so I will be bold and make this change immediately. The actual reference provided needs to be improved, though. The reference notes Oxenberg's position in the line of succession to the British throne. Although Oxenberg is in that line, her relatively close family connection to Charles doesn't come from Charles' position as King, but rather from Charles' father's line (i.e. not the line of Elizabeth II). So I will also note the need to improve the reference. Dash77 (talk) 17:24, 3 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
