Talk:Christie Harris Illustrated Children's Literature Prize

Hi, thanks for pointing out that Christie Harris Illustrated Children’s Literature Prize should be wikified. Can you give me some idea what would help?

The note says "add internal links" or "improve layout." I checked every single finalist and winner, and only one has a Wiki page, which I linked to. The only other internal link I could think of to add was to the parent organization, BC Book Prizes.

So perhaps you think it needs better layout -- what do you have in mind?

Greetings Jonah22. I have left notes on your talk page and on my talk page, but maybe you could add some more inline citations from newspapers, etc. for some of the prize winners and/or prize-winning books. I reckon that it might be necessary to reduce the list to only those who got first prize, or who are otherwise notable, but maybe if you check out some of the other, similar pages (click on Categories at the bottom of the page) you can get some better ideas. Cheers! --Technopat (talk) 13:47, 12 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
Have now had a look at some of the other articles listed under and most, if not all, just list the winners. As regards this article, the only author with an internal link is actually "only" a finalist, so maybe some mention of that fact can be made in the introduction and then delete the rest. As I have no idea of the relative notability of any of the winners/finalists who may at some future stage have their own article at Wikipedia, I'll leave that up to someone better versed in Canadian children's literature... Great, thanks for your help. I'll investigate further, and tweak this as need be. Yeah, lots to learn! Jonah22 (talk) 02:22, 13 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

I don't know if this is within Wikipedia's style guidelines, but I've thought we're not supposed to add offsite links to book titles, as in this edit for Bubble Homes? Jonah Winters (talk) 00:55, 22 February 2011 (UTC)Reply
