Christchurch Wastewater Treatment Plant

  •   Article is new and of requisite length, fully cited, neutral and free of paraphrasing. I can't help thinking though, that perhaps "New Zealand" should be included in the hook, given that there are quite a few Christchurches? Gatoclass (talk) 04:39, 6 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
  • Gatoclass, thanks for the review – it's much appreciated. My thinking is that by leaving off the country, it adds to the intrigue. Yes, we'd normally include the country but for the quirky hook, I suggest that we should be a bit looser in our approach (and we very often are). Part of what makes the hook great, in my view, is that it's so short. What do you reckon? Schwede66 07:48, 6 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
Okay, it was just a minor point - and yes, we are a little more flexible with the quirky slot. Cheers, Gatoclass (talk) 08:34, 6 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Map

Thanks for adding the map, Kyle-nz. Arguably, the oxidation ponds are part of the facility. Should they also be shown, either within the same map or maybe as a separate map? Schwede66 06:32, 27 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Good idea, I've added a wikidata tag to the feature in OpenStreetMap so the template could be upated to show both areas. Unfortunately it seems to take several months for wikipedia's map system to pick up the latest changes in OpenStreetMap --Kyle-nz (talk) 07:04, 27 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
As far as I know, that takes a day or two. Ah well, we'll see. Either way, thanks for doing this in the first instance and amending it so quickly. Top marks! Schwede66 07:07, 27 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
