Armenian Genocide

edit

What is China's position on the Recognition of the Armenian Genocide? I couldnt find any info on this. --Chris48930 (talk) 02:20, 11 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Perhaps China doesn't have a position on the Armenian Genocide. The current Chinese state didn't even exist at that time and China has a tendency to leave their meddling in foreign affairs to the economic sphere except in their immediate neighbourhood... of which Armenia is not a part.Simonm223 (talk) 02:35, 11 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
Funny to say that Turkish Republic also did not exist at that time, either. There was Ottoman Empire and Armenians who betrayed the state by helping the enemy states during World War I were exiled with a law issued by Committee of Union and Progress.Obuli (talk) 11:42, 17 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
I just added China's response on that position to the article. The People's Daily is a mouthpiece of the government, and editorials printed by them reflects government views. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.101.223.241 (talk) 19:47, 4 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

About the Article

edit

This page is about Chinese–Turkish foreign relations. Sentences like "Many Han Chinese citizen critize that Turkey makes double standard", "many Chinese accuse Turkey of secertly supporting East Turkistan independence" are not acceptable unless such accusations come from Chinese officials, goverment representatives, etc. Otherwise, the page will be flooded with silly sentences such as "many Turks think Chinese are aliens" etc.
Also, all the pharases in the article are given with references regarding both sides.Obuli (talk) 11:42, 17 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
