Citations needed
editMuch of the personal information is taken from a family web site that is listed under External sources (The Grandfather Kerr Clan Webpage). However, that site lists no verifiable sources, and thus does not satisfy Wikipedia criteria. Hopefully other Wikipedians can supply verifiable sources. Meanwhile, I have put these in a separate section called Anecdotal information.Bruin2 (talk) 01:38, 25 November 2010 (UTC)
- I rewrote the lede to improve the NPOV. There is still some borderline hagiographic and thinly sourced material in the section on the Tulsa race riot. The only cited source for this section is a defunct web site that focused on fringe conspiracy theories. Although the cited article on the Tulsa race riot is well sourced on the whole, the specific references to Kerr appear to come from an unpublished manuscript authored by someone with the same last name. As a result, I have moved the "third-party" template to the top of the article. The Tulsa race riot section should probably be rewritten to include "just the facts" from published sources and, IMO, the "Anecdotal" section needs to be eliminated. Article reclassification
editI believe this article now meets the requirements for Class C. I've made this change for the Oklahoma Project. Bruin2 (talk) 16:21, 19 January 2012 (UTC)
