I've removed the recent addition to the article "and took his own life there in 1927". I couldn't find a reference to this online. As suicide is quite a bold statement, this should really have a reference in a biography, even if the person has been dead for a good 80 years. So please provide a reference before putting it back into the article. If you don't know your way around inline referencing, please put the reference onto this talk page and somebody else will deal with it. I'll leave a note on the contributor's talk page. You said in your recent edit summary: "Do some old-fashioned historical research at the Canterbury Museum Research Centre on Charles Lewis. You might learn something-Schwede!" Well, that's the way to do it, and that's what I sometimes do. However, you are adding details about suicide to this article without providing references, and that doesn't work like this on WP. When you add content, it's up to you to provide the proof. I suggest you read up on WP:BIOG and WP:CITE. Schwede6600:35, 22 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
