Too technical

edit

Could someone rewrite this page in non-technical terms? Even after reading the article twice I have no idea what this page is about. 108.15.116.45 (talk) 02:57, 24 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Change 'give rise to' to 'present tracts which pass through' ?

edit

Would anyone object if I changed 'Mainly, the three common areas that give rise to the cerebral peduncles are the cerebral cortex, the spinal cord and the cerebellum.', to '...common areas which present tracts which pass through the cerebral peduncles' are the...'? I think this rewording is less confusing, as the peduncles 'rise from' the pons, whereas tracts through the peduncles come from the other areas mentioned (I presume). I don't have the cited textbook to see if this rewording is inappropriate to the citation. — Preceding unsigned comment added by UnderEducatedGeezer (talkcontribs) 06:35, 28 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

Yes please! That's much easier to understand. --Tom (LT) (talk) 09:31, 28 February 2020 (UTC)Reply
