Patient Evacuation
editWhen cleaning up Evacuation to bring it into compliance with MOS:DP, some technical information about patient evacuations became homeless. I've brought it over here for now, but it may fit better elsewhere. One possibility, should anyone be willing to take it on, is to change Patient evacuation from a redirect page to an article of its own. Sanguinity 17:21, 7 September 2006 (UTC)

In regards to changing Patient evacuation into its own article:
When I hear the phrase "Casualty movement" I think of working in the context of a mass casualty incident. When I hear "patient evacuation" I think of vehicle extrication or loading a patient into a helicopter for transport. I appears that Casualty movement has been addressed somewhat in the transport paragraph of the Mass-casualty incident wiki. I would suggest perhaps redirecting from this article to the MCI wiki so readers can get a full picture of how casualty movement fits into the entire mass-casualty incident. Thoughts?
