editSaleem El Deek
editI'm the owner of Petrikor Solutions agency in Lebanon, a creative digital marketing agency. I manage Carmen Lebbos's online presence.
Carmen Lebbos Wikipedia page has too little info about her career so I'd like to request several edits on it, mainly I need to include her correct biography as well as her work in Cinema and Television and Theater. I am now making edits after the last denied edits by Spintendo and following his comments.
Introduction
editI want to add information about her movie Whatever Lola Wants to the introduction and Murex d'or award, keeping the same references that are existing now the new introduction would be: Carmen Lebbos (Arabic: كارمن لبّس; born 22 February 1963)[1] [2] [3] is a Lebanese actress who has worked in film, television and the theater since 1981. She has been in several television series and movies including Ziad Doueiri’s West Beirut[4] and Josef Fares’s Zozo. She played with Laura Ramsey a major role in Whatever Lola Wants directed by Nabil Ayouch, where she plays the role of a famous forgotten Egyptian dancer called Ismahan[5]. She has also won the Murex d'or award in 2001, 2006, 2008 and 2013.[6] [7] [8] [9]
Career
editThis is a new section I want to add about her career:
In 1979 (at the age of 16), Carmen met Ziad Rahbani, which allowed her to work with him in the radio station and theater. This helped her learn about how to be a “natural actress”, and showed her the needed skills and tricks to play with her voice and choose tones according to the situations, which would help in her acting career.[10]
In 1981 (at the age of 18), Carmen enrolled in the Academy of Arts in Beirut. There she met her mentor, Mr. Yaacoub Chedrawi, who taught her the basics of the theater.[11][12] Late in the ’80s, she was considering moving to Paris in order to strengthen her acting knowledge and skills but found it rather impossible to live there all alone with her young baby.[13]
As of the early '90s, Carmen debuted her official acting career in Cinema and played major roles in several movies like Ziad Doueiri’s West Beirut[14] and Josef Fares’s Zozo and Nabil Ayouch's Whatever Lola Wants. She then focused more on television series.

edit- The Biography section is not written according to MOS:BLP, and uses phrases which cannot be confirmed by conventional references (e.g.,
As soon as she turned 16, she set her mind to attend the Academy of Arts to study acting.
). - The "Cinema Movies" section lists directors, which are not usually included in these types of filmographies.
- Please feel free to submit a new edit request below when these changes are implemented.
