ATP NEXT GENT IS NOT A TITLE! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2800:810:521:BE:B9FC:11CC:6FC5:8BC4 (talk) 22:01, 13 November 2021 (UTC)
Grand slam singles results
editWhy is he listed as the winner of all the grand slams even though he has not won before? 73.109.221.35 (talk) 06:28, 9 May 2022 (UTC)
- Because he won the 2022 Miami Open – Men's singles and the 2022 Mutua Madrid Open – Men's singles events. (CC) Tbhotch™ 16:36, 9 May 2022 (UTC)
Alcaraz height
editAlcaraz's height is listed as 6'1 and in every photo of him with Nadal (who is also listed as 6'1) he is shorter. Therefore he can't be 6'1 although he is listed as that. I do not have a medical source for this but photo evidence with other ATP players (whose heights have been verified) demonstrates that his listed height is wrong.
- Feel free to read WP:No original research. (CC) Tbhotch™ 17:01, 20 May 2022 (UTC)
- His posture is a bit stooped so perhaps when he stands upright at the drs. office he straightens up? But yeah, you'll need sources that say otherwise. Fyunck(click) (talk) 19:05, 20 May 2022 (UTC)
- Also the sources say 6' even and that's what the article says. Fyunck(click) (talk) 04:01, 12 September 2022 (UTC)
Seperate page for Alcaraz 2022 season

Pseudonym: Charluco
editPlease, add his pseudonyms of Charluco and perhaps Carlitos to the article; they are both extremely notorious both in Villena (his Spanish village) and the rest of Spain. It is hard to have any “sources” of something that is popularly known; he is mentioned by the name Charluco in many video interviews in Spanish; it just so we’ll known…

- We must have multiple sources of widespread use, and we would put in a personal section if found, not the lead. Fyunck(click) (talk) 20:14, 14 September 2022 (UTC)

Carlos picture
editI am Alex Gurteen from Epsom, Surrey, accompanied by experienced Wikipedia editors George Hannay, James Ball, Matthew Houghton, Ollie Garrod and Daniel Wolff. Is a picture from Wikimedia commons available for new profile pic from 2023? Particularly considering the success from today. JamiroquaiTopG (talk) 23:08, 16 July 2023 (UTC)
- Although not really a candidate for a profile pic I would add this were the page not protected 2A00:23C5:6600:9801:A5D1:C4FE:E595:9C27 (talk) 07:53, 19 July 2023 (UTC)
Consider moving content to the dedicated 2022 Carlos Alcaraz tennis season page
editThe 2022 Carlos Alcaraz tennis season page is currently being considered for deletion, and one of the rationales is that it doesn't add much on top of the corresponding section in this article. I'm in favor of not deleting the season page, but as it stands, it is in fact deficient in content. I recommend that the 2022 season section here be condensed into a summary, and most of the detail moved to the tennis season page. Chernorizets (talk) 22:39, 17 July 2023 (UTC)
- However it's turning into a snowball keep. But yes, do better at summarizing the 2022 section. Fyunck(click) (talk) 22:52, 17 July 2023 (UTC)
Inconsistent serve speed units
editFirst serve specified in mph but second serve specified in kmh. Not sure what Wikipedia policy is, but maybe both units should be specified for each. Looks confusing at moment. 51.6.124.174 (talk) 05:12, 28 July 2023 (UTC)
Did his publicist edit this?
editTop to bottom, most of the material is more fanboi than neutral. WPGuin (talk) 01:48, 7 September 2023 (UTC)
- As is pretty much all the top players. Fyunck(click) (talk) 02:01, 7 September 2023 (UTC)
Pronunciation of his surname
editThe stress is on the last syllable, right? American TV commentators seem always to place it on the first (although the doesn’t mean anything, since they mispronounce almost all foreign names — especially Russian ones). Paul Magnussen (talk) 04:20, 16 July 2024 (UTC)
