Ghost Shrimp and/or Glass Shrimp are in fact true shrimp;
Infraorder: Caridea
Family: Palaemonidae
Genus: Palaemonetes
Species: Paludosus
Ghost Shrimp are Paludosus which are a Sub Family to the infraorder Caridea so yes in fact Ghost Shrimp are true shrimp!
while Mud Shrimp and Boxer shrimp are actually not true shrimp!
I believe the statement is referring to ghost shrimp and mud shrimp in Axiidea, which is not a member of Caridea. Take a look at the cladogram further down in the "Sytematics" section. Cougroyalty (talk) 19:37, 9 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
