UK transmissions

edit

The article asserts that Cannonball was shown on ABC Weekend Television from October 6th 1958, Well, October 6th 1958 was a Monday and, as its name implies, ABC Weekend Television only broadcast on Saturdays and Sundays. There is no record of Cannonball being shown in the Midlands on October 6th 1958, nor on the preceding weekend, or the following weekend. ATV London began broadcasting it on July 12th 1959 on Sundays at 9.35pm.Ambak51 (talk) 17:23, 6 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Did Merle Haggard sing theme song?

edit

This article states Merle Haggard wrote and sang the theme song for this 1959 series, but the singer's Wikipedia article says he was a prisoner in San Quentin from 1958 to 1960. If that is correct it's unlikely he was doing any music recording at the time. He did the theme song for the 1970s series about truck drivers, Movin' On.
