Updating the "Deaths per day" graph?

Given that the currently used graph is 21 days behind, and the latest official data shows that Sweden's strategy seems to be a success that other countries can learn from, shouldn't it be significantly updated in order to efficiently spread awareness?

@Blådjur:I think that this is extremely important given that the average death rate per day has gone down to 1/33rd of what it was at most. David A (talk) 07:09, 1 August 2020 (UTC)

@David A: I updated the graph with the stats from July. I can't update this regularly however. If you're interested in contributing, you can find data for all graphs on this link. It was very easy to export, as the complete dataset is available in an Excel file (see "Data som statistiken ovan bygger på kan laddas ner här (Excel)"). Updated daily I believe. It's possible the ones who updated this before used some script. Also, on a second look it seems like we should check the stats for June. bladjur (talk) 01:32, 4 August 2020 (UTC)

@Blådjur: I wanted to update the graphs with data from the official Excel file, but it no longer seems to feature dates for the statistics. Are you able to properly interpret them anyway, from the above page or some other resource? David A (talk) 12:44, 16 August 2020 (UTC)

specially @ David A: again the wish would be to up-date the data in the diagram in the article! I for one can not manage to read off precise daily figures from the source mentioned above (https://experience.arcgis.com/experience/09f821667ce64bf7be6f9f87457ed9aa). when hovering over a day it just shows the date and a time... could you help please with advice how to get precise daily data? the data you find with johns-hopkins, worldometers or ourworldindata show disturbing differences...! particulary the data from johns-hopkins seem distorted letting sweden appear in a negative light with strange peak-values while in a continuned manner three days per week are not counted... I hope the link will give up-dated informations in the future... unfortunately I don't have time to up-date the table in the article... :-( can you, or can anybody explain, why there are considerable differences in the numbers reported between official data from sweden and worldometers and johns-hopkins-university...?! and why jhu has this odd method of counting: 3 days per with zeros, 4 days with correspondingly higher numbers (which makes the statistical curve look worse than it actually is...) @HilmarHansWerner: I have updated from December 1st to 3 January, the series has been updated and before 1st December some of the figures have changed. Replacing the Whole series with the revised numbers is a trivial task as is adding the Additional days on the Intensive care bed divisions. I am happy to update both but want to know what editors David A (talk and talk think the best thing to do is. This Page is superior to the UK page for the very fact that proper accessible series of numbers are available. Thank you David A for the original Graphs , I hope you are slightly less busy, I am happy to do some Grunt work as you already did all the hard work. @RogerGLewis: I saw You've faced some problem while editing chart data and reverted your attempt completely. Observing your changes, I could see 2 problems - You've added 5 x-values and 7 y-values, and You've replaced "," with new line character after 4th added y-value. Once you'll fix this 2 problems I think chart will be rendered as expected. (However of course current behavior of chart - that just renders some mess instead of reporting markup problems - is quite counterintuitive) 84.47.179.91 (talk) 18:51, 13 January 2021 (UTC)

I think it could be good to extract data for cases/hospitalisations/deaths daily charts to some separate Tabular Data file, and use Template:Graph:Lines / Template:Graph:Stacked charts with reference to that .tab file. In recent changes daily charts with inline data were eventually replaced by charts with references to c:Data:COVID-19_Sweden_daily_cases_hospitalisations_deaths.tab tabular data.

Flights

@Candolopee: It seems to me that the recently added, detailed information about new flights in COVID-19 pandemic in Sweden#Aviation is WP:UNDUE, as there is no direct connection to the Covid pandemic in the sources. New destinations are added and removed from airports all the time, and even if the new flights probably have something to do with reduced travel restrictions this list does not add to the readers understanding of the article topic. I propose that everything after the first section is summarized to one short paragraph. Sjö (talk) 14:22, 29 November 2021 (UTC)

@Candelopee: Please explain how your addition is WP:DUE and how it is not WP:SYNTH. The text out of proportion to the coverage in reliable sources. Every single paragraph is sourced to Swedavia, the company that runs the airports, and as far as I can see none of the sources say anything about Covid. Sjö (talk) 17:20, 6 December 2021 (UTC)

@Sjö: I think brief mentioning that airports in Sweden remains active could be informative, but it looks like that list is rather redundant, since it basically retell https://www.mynewsdesk.com/swedavia/pressreleases/, so I guess it would be worth to reduce it to something much shorter. 84.47.179.91 (talk) 21:05, 6 December 2021 (UTC)

@Sjö: I think that it still is relevant and the article COVID-19 pandemic in Sweden is not expanding much anymore. During February-June 2020 it was very edited but now the editing has gone down and the pandemic is not over. As of December 2021 the cases are going up and the interest for COVID-19 is not going down. If I would not add this information, no new information would be added so as long the situation stays the same I suggest that the information is kept. In all sources there is some information about COVID-19. We could make the information collapsible. Candolopee (talk) 09:52, 7 December 2021 (UTC)

The "Aviation" section is one of the longest sections of the whole article (see "section sizes" at top of talk page. I agree it is WP:UNDUE and should be cut down. Arcahaeoindris (talk) 14:52, 22 December 2021 (UTC)
