editThe article title should be titled CMX EDITING SYSTEMS as this was the original company name. There could be link from CMX SYSTEM for disambiguation if judged necessary. --cFilm 16:34, 16 Nov 2006 (UTC)
Highly dubious claim
edit"Eighteen months after its introduction, over 90% of all videotape editing for broadcast was done on a CMX system."
That is untrue and unsourced. Most videotape editing for broadcast was done at thousands of TV stations for their local news. Few of them could afford a CMX system. It may be true of editing for network entertainment programs. Whitcwa (talk) 12:10, 14 November 2022 (UTC)
