the specific section on seismic engineering ought to be moved to ....Engineering,Earthquake as it doesn't (in my humble opinion),fit the traditional category Building science. it is science....and it is about buildings....but Comments?? X arch (talk) 02:48, 29 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

I agree. Normally "building science" and especially "building physics" refers to everything EXCEPT structural engineering, so this section really doesn't belong here. I rearranged the sections to make it easier to merge this section, and added a template note suggesting the merge. Or, this section could just be deleted -- Wikipedia already has good articles on seismic engineering. If no one objects, I may just delete it. Margin1522 (talk) 10:04, 25 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

I am in total agreement. It is very odd that Earthquake Engineering would show up here. Delete or merge, but please move away from this topic! — Preceding unsigned comment added by BuildingScientist (talkcontribs) 15:55, 24 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

"so-called accidental loads (of people, furniture, etc.)" these are called live loads, accidental loads are completly different

Given the above discussion, the Earthquake section has been deleted from here; unreferenced, and the proposed target is mature and well-referenced. Klbrain (talk) 21:30, 13 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
