I also like the Buffalo River quite a lot, and would call it a treasure casually. But I agree and Was Bold, and just removed it. Pfly 03:51, 2 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

The comment that the Buffalo River was the first national river is incorrect. The Ozark National Scenic Riverways predated the Buffalo River. The current text for the Ozark National Scenic Riverways is stated correctly. 173.218.150.238 (talk) 19:22, 24 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
