- Harry Chung plays a bit role as a man who challenged Lee on the set of Enter the Dragon. Chung was known for constantly getting hurt during the workouts on set and while playing sports.
- Unlike other Bruceploitation biopics, this was actually filmed around the world: in Hong Kong, Seattle, Los Angeles, Rome, Long Beach, and Bangkok. That being said, the filmmakers obviously did not have permits for some of the locations; a scene from the movie is set at 20th Century Fox studios, for example, but the action takes place outside the front gates.
- Among director Ng See-Yuen's other credits is the Bruceploitation sequel Game of Death 2 (A/K/A Tower of Death).
- According to the notes on the back of the Region 1 DVD from Videoasia, the producers of the Hollywood biopic Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story watched this film for reference.
Infobox language
editThe infobox licts the original language for this film to be "Cantonese." However, in many ways it appears to be a typical "chop-socky" of the 70s, which Cinema of Hong Kong indicates would have bveen in Mandarin. Can anyone explain why this film would have been in Cantonese instead of Mandarin, or should the infobox line be changed? --Ted Watson (talk) 23:04, 15 April 2009 (UTC)
