copyright vio and unclear information
editUnless findlaw.com has a habit of copying information from wikipedia.org, it looks to me as though the History section is pretty much copied from [1].
Also, the history section, as currently written, is a little confusing. Searcy Bracewell was a Texas Senator, according to the article. Based on this article, alone, I'd assume that meant that was referring to J. S. Bracewell's son, however, after looking at the Texas Senate, District 16 and Texas Senate, District 6 articles, I'm not so sure. According to those articles, J. Searcy Bracewell, Jr. was a Texas Senator in the 51st - 55th legislatures (which, according to the Texas Legislature article spanned from 1949 to 1957).
This suggests that either J. S. Bracewell - and not his son - was a Texas Senator and that the S in his name represents Searcy or that J. S. Bracewell's son's is more accurately J. Searcy Bracewell, Jr. and that the findlaw.com article just happened to leave off his first initial of J. TerraFrost 16:33, 30 November 2007 (UTC)
- Actually, it looks like it's the latter. Rereading the Searcy Bracewell article, it says "he, his father, his brother". Since J. S. Bracewell's father wasn't one of the founders, I think it's safe to assume that it's his son. TerraFrost 16:42, 30 November 2007 (UTC)
