Merger

New research shows that the genus Boulengerina is synonymous with Naja. Here is the research:

I would recommend keeping this article for the following reasons:

• Boulengerina is still a subgenus;
• the subgenus is still in flux, with a species recently added;
• the next DNA analysis may restore it to genus level;
• the name honors Boulenger.

So, let's keep this WP article, at least until the taxonomic and systematic dust settle. Lyttle-Wight (talk) 11:44, 6 July 2014 (UTC)
