Bikini Beach
editIs Boris Karloff in Bikini Beach (1964) ?? It's in the list, but he aint on the wiki page's credits, and it doesn't quite look like his type of movie... Rob 05:02, 1 August 2006 (UTC)
- Wikipages for films only occassionaly include the entire cast of a film (depending on the editor's O/C nature I suspect). That is why we try to always include a link to the IMDb page for each film which, if you had checked it for this film, you would find that he has a small role as an art dealer. At the time these beach movies were a pop phenomenon and several stars of the 30's and 40's might show up in small roles to give them a new audience and for a small payday. Cheers. The following is from The Films of Boris Karloff (see References section in the article), page 248: "Karloff made a brief unbilled appearance as the 'Art Dealer' who observes the teenagers scrapping and remarks, 'Monsters!' This was the third of the successful 'beach' series produced by American International." Karloff was an old hand at American International by the time Bikini Beach was made.SWMSEMFEM2 (talk) 17:42, 12 February 2011 (UTC)
Boris Karloff and Bela Lugosi
editThere really should be a category or some another page of those six of the films including both Béla Lugosi and Boris Karloff. The films are The Black Cat (1934), The Raven (1935), The Invisible Ray (1936), Son of Frankenstein (1939), Black Friday (1940) and The Body Snatcher (1945). --62.216.117.62 (talk) 01:14, 15 May 2009 (UTC)
- You can find out what movies they are both in together by reading those respective articles. It's of interest to fans, but not to general public as much I'd say. Andrzejbanas (talk) 15:48, 15 May 2009 (UTC)
Arsenic and Old Lace (1944)
editSeems to be missing — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rwsamsel (talk • contribs) 19:43, 25 April 2011 (UTC)
- Probably because he wasn't in it (per the film article) : "Boris Karloff played Jonathan Brewster, who "looks like Karloff", on the Broadway stage, but he was unable to do the movie as well because he was still appearing in the play during filming, and Raymond Massey took his place." Familiar Presence On Television
editThe way the sentence is written, it can give the reader the impression that The Veil aired on television, which it did not. Should the sentence be rewritten? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.145.49.239 (talk) 04:42, 15 February 2014 (UTC)
Speaking of Television
editHow come Karloff's TV roles aren't listed?
Other "Filmography" entries/pages for other actors/actresses give both a movie section AND a television section.
So why not here?
Just curious. 2600:8800:787:F500:C23F:D5FF:FEC5:89B6 (talk) 08:35, 29 May 2017 (UTC)
