Ingredients
editI removed the long list of ingredients; it is not of encyclopedic value. (generally, I question the notworthiness for the article itself, but I'll address that later). --ZimZalaBim (talk) 03:22, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
If Alberta was a country, it would be the second richest in the world behind Luxembourgh, therefore, companies based in Alberta's capital have a bearing on business and what will become recongnized as Alberta's wealth, political power, power as a supplier to US (energy), and population growth, which make many things about Alberta important. Alberta, and Edmonton in particular, have produced many small companies recently that have incredibly fast growth within the province, and possibilty for growth around the world. Therefore this one page is usefull and noteworthy. I prefer people who want to get rid of an article come out and make an arguement, instead of making claims of non-noteworthyness (Like my new word?) without backing it up in a clear manner. So you see, it appears I have chosen to address it now. Jeremy99 05:18, 20 April 2007 (UTC)
- Criteria for notability of corporations and businesses can be found at WP:CORP; the company itself - not the economy of its surroundings, however good that might be - must be able to meet those guidelines, including multiple, non-trivial references as set out in the policies for articles. Feel free to improve the article if you feel you can do so and remove the notability concerns. Cheers. Tony Fox (arf!) 05:53, 20 April 2007 (UTC)
- To reiterate what Tony has said, I put the NN tag on the top, because the article doesn't show that it meets the primary notability criterion. That isn't to say that it isn't notable, but just that the article, if it is to remain, needs to show it's notability. McKay 14:32, 20 April 2007 (UTC)
Notability
editGreat! we've got one good source. WP:N requests 2. Find another, and I'll be off your back. McKay 06:12, 4 November 2007 (UTC)
