John Lawton

can someone add some stuff regarding John Lawton? He was a manager at Boldon James in the eighties. Prior to that I believe he was a radio operator in the merchant navy. He also once overturned his company Vauxhall Cavalier on the motorway, but he came out unscathed. There is plenty of material on the web about his marathon run in Greece. The Boldon James Entry

Hi - we want to edit the Boldon James article as it is now quite out-of-date and doesn't accurately reflect the current organisation or it's products. I've attempted to do this several times, only to have the changes rejected and the article revert back to its original form. We have spent some time writing a profile of the company which is as neutral and non-spammy as possible, but which accurately represents the organisation as it exists today. This is particularly important to us as Facebook have now posted up a Community page about Boldon James which takes it's content from this article. I am the Corporate Comms representative for Boldon James and whilst I understand that it's important that Wikipedia is neutral and not a Marketing forum, I believe it's also important that an organisation be allowed some input on how they are represented both here and on Facebook.
