So, whose version counts as original?
editWho performed the song in the film? (Whilst I want to know, for my CD collection database, please add answers to these questions to the article, as they're quite vital info). --kingboyk 23:33, 25 January 2007 (UTC)
Blues In The Night NOT best orginal song for 1941
editOther dbs suggest it was "Last Time I Saw Paris."
Looney Tune usage
editI remember in the cartoon Bugs Bunny Gets the Boid an instance after Bugs pretends to surrender and let Beaky Buzzard capture him after he gets tidied up, he then sung a variant of the song with words that were a less-than-subtle slap at the slow-witted buzzard. Also, earlier in the scene, Beaky sung a version with the words "Bring home somethin' for dinner" replacing the original 2nd line. WAVY 10 Fan (talk) 16:07, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
Joe Turner 1942, is this not notable?
editI would have thought Big Joe Turner's version from 1942 would be among the notables, but then, I am steeped in the blues so maybe some bias there. His version certainly counts as a blues classic and is found on countless compilations. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Stevensims (talk • contribs) 06:03, 18 April 2022 (UTC)
