FWIW, his 1959 Jazzland album Blue Soul was re-released in 1967 in the same period as a then-new Blue Note album. An article in the Joplin Globe for May 21, 1967(retrieved through NewspaperArchive.com), discusses both albums in detail. Lawikitejana (talk) 15:22, 27 June 2013 (UTC)Reply
