Length of time before certification
editIt might be worth noting that the album was certified Platinum on June 22, 2012. This was more than four years after the album was released.
This is quite a later date than most of her other releases. It was much later than all of her previous releases. Her first four albums all went platinum within a year. Additionally, her immediate follow-up (2008's Circus) took only two months to achieve platinum certification, and her next studio album after that (2011's Femme Fatale) took only a month. Even her 2004 compilation album took only a month.
