Requested map
editIt is requested that a map or maps be included in this article to improve its quality. Wikipedians in India may be able to help! |
- Requested map 01 - Biodiversity hotspots
The map for biodiversity hotspots is given in this link. The requested map need show only India and its four associated hotspots:
- Himalayas (from J&K till Arunachal Pradesh less Nepal & Bhutan)
- Indo-Burma (To include Andaman island, all the Northeast states in Indian territory, less Sikkim & Arunachal Pradesh which are part of the Himalayas hotspot, and also excluding Assam which does not form part of either Himalayas or Indo-Burma hotspot.)
- Nicobar Islands
- Western Ghats
They would have the following numbers as labels against the coloured areas:
- Himalayas: 10
- Indo-Burma: 11
- Nicobar Islands: 20
- Western Ghats: 22
I will write the necessary captions for the Wikimedia upload page once its done.
