Ummm...

Binaca is also a brand-name breath-freshener spray that's been sold in the U.S. and elsewhere for decades (though it's not well-advertised nationally nowadays). They also have a mouthwash. Just Google it. Maybe it's the same company? Anyway, not just India. --72.70.92.125 (talk) 23:36, 28 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

This article mentioned about Binaca toothpaste as well as Binaca undergarments. This is misleading, confusing & away from the main article context [which is about toothpaste brand]. This has to be changed immediately. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.204.82.177 (talk) 23:15, 2 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

This stub-like article could do with a bit more info

I just came across this entry for Binaca [toothpaste brand] while indulging a nostalgia. I noticed that there is a "see also" section for Cibaca. From many print and media advertisements in the late 1980s (as far as I remember), I was under the impression that Hindustan Ciba-Geigy had bought over the brand and renamed it as Cibaca. Even the Binaca Geetmala changed its name to Cibaca Geetmala. If you search "Binaca Cibaca" online, you'd find that many, many people appear to share the same notion. I just learnt today that this is a misconception. Binaca and Cibaca were and are two separate brands; the confusion had to do with the fact that the consumer products division of Ciba-Geigy (originally of Switzerland) was sold to the Calcutta-based English company Reckitt and Coleman (who owned the Binaca brand at that time). But they apparently kept the two brands separate and were even prepared to go to court over it.[1] Since this misconception plagues many like me who grew up in India in the late 1980s and early 1990s, should this not form a part of the Binaca article on Wikipedia?
