I read the "Convicted sex offender' Talk thread from March, and I'm fine with the first sentence, but does seem that the intro glosses the reported severity of his crime. I suggest we mention in the intro that Cosby admitted drugging women he planned to have sex with, and also change 'tarnished his legacy' to something stronger. Maybe 'severely tarnished'. Given the media coverage, that is accurate and maintains NPOV. 38.49.84.175 (talk) 20:59, 11 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
Well, just before it mentions "tarnished", it mentions it ended his career. The sets the severity of it. Changing it to "severely tarnished" would be seen as WP:PEACOCK verbiage. Who are we to say it is severe or not? The reader should decide that from the context given in the body rather then from us. Richard-of-Earth (talk) 05:40, 12 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
The intro is dishonest. He is a convicted serial sex offender not a victim of “allegations” that have tarnished and ended his career. It’s phrased like he has never been found guilty and has been targeted. Any other man with such criminal history would have it as part of his resume of notoriety not as a footnote. 2604:3D08:178E:5900:D4B0:F026:9297:E177 (talk) 17:20, 8 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
Incorrect capitalization of "Hungry I" in second paragraph
Yes, the Hungry I article does mention this stylized version in the lead, but then refers to it with caps after that. There is no reason to use the stylized version here if not used that way in the subject article. Richard-of-Earth (talk) 20:37, 2 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
