I did not realize that Judge Hayes already had a page on Wikipedia (because it was indexed as Benjamin Ignatius Hayes instead of Benjamin Hayes, which is the form this gentleman normally used), so I developed an entirely new page based upon WP:Secondary sources, and when I started to paste it into Wikipedia, I discovered the other page, which already existed. So I ruminated a while and decided to paste in my material in place of the old because I was certain that all parts of it were well sourced. The material that was replaced may have been cited to his letters or diaries (I couldn't tell from the reference links) or to a Find a Grave page, which is, well, rather frowned on by WP editors. If you find any errors, I wish you would correct them, of course using good sources. Yours sincerely, GeorgeLouis (talk) 01:25, 30 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
