This article, the one on American Indian Public Charter School, and American Indian Model School system, both in Oakland, CA, have to be reviewed and edited together in order to reduce overlap and to clarify the status of the school and charter system before and after Chavis. Both those articles are now focused on his period of tenure. The two school articles should focus on the facts of the schools and less on the figure of Chavis. Although he was highly influential in the first school and system, that time is past. Move some of the quotes and more contentious personal opinions expressed by and about Chavis to the bio article about him. Parkwells (talk) 16:19, 5 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
