General Feedback
editI thought that your article was very well written and I especially commend you for the use of bullet points in some sections that made the information very accessible to readers. I went through your article and corrected several grammar and punctuation errors just to improve the flow and clarity. Additionally I linked certain key words so that your article will receive more traffic. Beyond those technical changes I have some suggestions about content that could be added. Under Distribution and Habitat including a distribution map would be helpful to provide better visualization. Similarly, a more thorough description of how nests are built and the number of occupants an average colony has would be nice. Under Description and Identification a subsection on sexual dimorphism between males and females would also be useful. Addition of a whole new section regarding Human importance would also make this article more accessible for readers. This section could address their stings, aggression towards humans, effect on agriculture, etc. Overall I thought this was a great article and I hope my suggestions were helpful!
Peer Review
editFirst of all, I'd like to start by congratulating you, this was a great article and incredibly informative! I found the organization of the article to be impeccable, the depth to which you went to in certain sections (especially Behavior) was commendable as well. That said, I would definitely say that certain sections of your article could be expanded to keep up with the standards that you already set in your Colony Cycle and Behavior sections. The one that stood at the most to me was the subsection, Diet underneath Interaction with Other Species. Though succinct, I added a little more information on the actual process of food extraction. I found a good article that touches upon it that you might want to look it: Dejean, A., and Turillazzi, 1992. S., Territoriality during trophobioses between wasps and homopterans. Tropical Zoology. 5(2): 237-247.
Other than that, my only other issue was your definition of eusociality. Though eusociality can have indistinguishable castes, there are many cases of eusocial wasps that have clear dimorphism between workers and queens so I changed the absolutist tone of that part and to display something along the lines of "eusocial wasps have displayed, in many cases, no dimorphism between castes."
