By lack of coverage in reliable sources you mean, that it was not important enough, or sources are not reliable and so this is fake? It's no wonder, that it wasn't covered in Western sources, since it was very obscure weapon, made in a small number - nonetheless it had several interesting features (owing to lack of experience of its designer).
