The caption of the photograph of the troops in trenches is mistaken. That was not the Battle of Tuyutí. It is by the Uruguayan photographer Javier López and was taken after the Battle of Boquerón del Sauce. The photograph has sometimes been attributed, with more imagination than accuracy, to the later battle of Tuyutí, which I believe López did not even cover. It should be moved to the appropriate Article in Wikipedia. Ttocserp 19:32, 26 January 2016 (UTC)
The photograph was taken at Tuyutí, but not during the First Battle of Tuyutí nor during the Second Battle of Tuyutí. Thus, I don't think he photo should be here: it's misleading. --Lecen (talk) 13:23, 9 February 2016 (UTC)Reply
