Participation of the Polish auxiliary police

What sources do we have that Polish auxiliary police units took part in the fighting? I was unable to find any information about it, as there were no Polish Schutzmannschaft battalions in the area. 202 was stationed near Kostopol at that time. I found information about the stay of the Polish police in Zasmyki, but in July 1943, later it was a Polish self-defense base.

What was the role of Wincenty Romanowski? To my knowledge he was not a member of the police force, certainly not a commander.
