@Catlemur: You noted on the Assessment page that, "Elkins is only mentioned in the infobox and the lede." Here is my reply: Shea's book does not place McGuire's Store near any modern town, nor is there any trace of it on Google maps. However, Shea described it as being near the White River between Fayetteville and Huntsville. The modern highway between Huntsville and Fayetteville crosses the White River near Elkins. No other town comes close. Is it necessary for me to cite Google maps in this situation? Can I put it into a footnote? How would you like me to handle this? BTW: I can locate Richland Creek a few miles east of Elkins on Google maps, exactly where one would expect if following Shea's description of the location of Shelby's brigade. I am not sure about this one because its on the edge of WP:OR. I think a footnote would suffice for B class, if it was a GA review I would ask for a second opinion.--Catlemur (talk) 15:29, 19 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for making me dig a little deeper. It turns out that the Encyclopedia of Arkansas has an article about Maguiretown. Also, Wikipedia also has an article about the defunct town of McGuire, Arkansas. Please see how I added this new information to the article. Djmaschek (talk) 04:12, 22 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
