Clarification

I'm not entirely sure what needs to be spelled out clearer... Base Runs models the run-scoring process more accurately than RC. It handles the home run far more appropriately than RC. It maintains its predictive accuracy at extreme conditions, which neither RC nor linear weights do. It is superior to RC in every way except ease of use. • The heart of the page was a huge quote from Smyth, with nothing to indicate that it is correctly licensed
• The quote form TangoTiger probably qualifies under fair dealing/fair use but would be better re-written as tangotiger is licensed only for non-commercial use.

The rationale for this statistic, and its difference from (improvement upon?) James' Runs Created needs to be spelled out or illustrated more clearly. In other words, why is this a valuable or notable statistic? In addition, it's a bit odd that the "source" for the statistic is an apparently deleted internet posting, and further that there is no date given for the invention.
