Poor citations, probable copyvio

edit

This article needs proper citing and probably rewriting. Much of it looks as if it's been lifted directly from some unnamed source. Laterthanyouthink (talk) 02:18, 22 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

These banks' histories are confusing and overlapping. I think that all of this could be contained in the article under the current name BankSA. Laterthanyouthink (talk) 06:47, 15 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

Oppose. The collapse of the State Bank of South Australia was very significant on its own, and that bank has little relation to the current BankSA, with only the scraps of what was left (including the brand name, which was changed to BankSA) after the collapse bought by Advance, then Advance was bought by St George, then St George was bought by Westpac. The BankSA article's history section needs to be rewritten with citations from the State Bank of South Australia article. MarkiPoli (talk) 11:15, 18 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
