Contested deletion
editThis page should not be speedily deleted because... It now contains 50 sources, over 30 of which are reliable sources, ranging from hard copy materials such as Liner Notes to Billboard 100 articles. --Elizawriter (talk) 15:31, 11 March 2014 (UTC)
An editor, User:Sami Abboud appears to have a conflict of interest on this page. It appears that he paid a blocked editor to add words and pictures to this article. Then he tried to repost her words and pictures after they were deleted. That is not allowed, per WP:EVASION. However, the editor is welcome to suggest fixes for any errors, following the procedure on WP:COI. Let's fix the errors. Logical Cowboy (talk) 02:51, 21 October 2014 (UTC)
Songwriting and production section is problematic
editThis page's "Songwriting and production" section is messy and hard to understand. I want to move forward and create a table(s) that relays information in a manner that is easier to comprehend.
I also notice information under "Music Career" is out of date and will do further research to make it more current and less promotional. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kendrickhaveadream (talk • contribs) 01:02, 3 February 2015 (UTC)

Stop Edit-Warring
edit@Thereasonwithin and Truthbetold91:
You two need to stop having a slow-motion edit war on this page. One of you is being significantly inaccurate, but it's not directly clear who.
Please figure out a solution here and if that can't work, take it either to Third Opinion or to the BLP Noticeboard

Gladly, the “Michael Jackson comparison” section is grossly misleading. 1. It’s content revolves around a publicity stunt involving the paternity of Brandon howard to Michael Jackson not comparisons, so it’s title should reflect as such. “Paternity Controversy” or Scandal. 2. The original post claims that dna results are inconclusive but then links to an article which clearly states that the results were fabricated. So I don’t see why this section should state something different. 3. In order to be neutral, both sides should be represented. Since one of the parties involved is deceased and can not speak for himself, statements from the attorney who represents the estate should be quoted. 4. B Howard’s birthday is April 2, 1981, why is this constantly being deleted. 5. Miki Howard his mother, should be the first associated acts 6. Missy Elliott is listed as an associated act but is nowhere to be found in the contents of this page. 7. The sentence “ Joe Jackson, the patriarch of the Jackson family, was Miki's manager in the '80s.” in the early life section is completely irrelevant to the topic and is not neutral to the article as it plays upon the paternity rumors. It should either be deleted or written with clarity. “ Joe Jackson, the patriarch of the Jackson family, was briefly Miki's manager in 1985.” Truthbetold91 (talk) 20:52, 25 August 2020 (UTC)
@Nosebagbear So it’s clear instead of engaging in dialogue about disputes over this page. @thereasonwithin is just using another account to change its content. Truthbetold91 (talk) 01:22, 26 August 2020 (UTC)
- TMZ, like every other gossip publication, is not an acceptable source, and is SURE AS HELL NOT ACCEPTABLE for claims which implicate BLP. —A little blue Bori v^_^v Hasteur Hasteur Ha-- oh.... 03:56, 26 August 2020 (UTC)
Great, tmz is not cited. And everything else mentioned??? Truthbetold91 (talk) 04:45, 26 August 2020 (UTC)
- This looks like you're citing TMZ. —A little blue Bori v^_^v Hasteur Hasteur Ha-- oh.... 04:55, 26 August 2020 (UTC)
How hypocritical. YOUR source (#33) is a tmz article! http://www.tmz.com/2014/03/07/michael-jackson-son-brandon-howard-dna-test-results-terminator-salvation
All you’re doing is changing what it says in the article, the test was not inclusive it was faked. If you don’t agree with the outcome then the entire section should be deleted. Otherwise you’re posting misleading content which is also not acceptable. Truthbetold91 (talk) 05:38, 26 August 2020 (UTC)
I’m posting a count clear of events and have tried multiple times to be fair and neutral. Everything else can be found on the own mans social media. Such as birth date, known associates and companies he has worked for. Truthbetold91 (talk) 05:47, 26 August 2020 (UTC)
- That source was there before you started editing, and I have since fixed it (It now cites the same Fox8 article as an earlier cite). I'm actually taking a closer look at the page right now; I have a feeling that some sections will need removed. —A little blue Bori v^_^v Hasteur Hasteur Ha-- oh.... 05:56, 26 August 2020 (UTC)
His mother is Miki Howard, but who is his father?
editJoseph Jackson? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 37.146.40.103 (talk) 10:14, 8 January 2021 (UTC)
His father is Augie Johnson of the music group Side Effect, which also featured his mother Miki Howard. Truthbetold91 (talk) 03:17, 12 February 2022 (UTC)
