"BNE is a New York-based graffiti artist, who has left his mark in cities throughout the world, including the United States, Canada, Asia, Australia, Europe, and South America."

This is a list of countries and continents, not "cities." Also, this list requires a citation. Smitrovich (talk) 18:01, 26 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

The list is cited: the citation is at the end of the paragraph and supports multiple cities. Should we add "in" to the list of countries/regions? —C.Fred (talk) 19:42, 26 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format. — {{U|Technical 13}} (etc) 19:57, 26 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

I have "no horse in this contest"... did not get "scammed" but what the other edits say is true - if you take the time to search google you will find dozens of articles that speak of the scam. That being said, is there a way to contest your decision and bring in another moderate the dispute? 24.97.4.148 (talk) 19:13, 26 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

what about Complex Magazine as a citation? They are a major news magazine. http://www.complex.com/art-design/2014/03/banksy-bne-collaboration-fake — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.97.4.148 (talk) 19:22, 26 June 2014‎ (UTC)Reply

It's unclear what specific edit you want made. However, I'll leave this marked unanswered and wait to see what other editors say. @Cwobeel: You're probably got this page watchlisted and already saw this, but I'll ask anyway: what's your take on whether Complex passes WP:RS? —C.Fred (talk) 19:41, 26 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
I'm guessing they're like People magazine for the urban crowd - Complex (magazine). --NeilN talk to me 20:07, 26 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

BNE speaks

A response is at bne.org/collabtee, which makes a hell of a lot more sense than the nutball conspiracy theory stuff these meatpuppets have been trying to add for several days now. Tarc (talk) 20:56, 26 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

Name

edit

Why is this article named "B.N.E." (with dots)? The stickers don't use the dots, nor do any sources I looked at. I suggest to move the article back to BNE (artist). -- Michael Bednarek (talk) 02:36, 11 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

Exhibition

edit

Hi Michael Bednarek, while it may be a big deal for a graffiti artist, I maintain that the exhibition and mural at the advertising agency is not 'of note' or significant from the perspective of art/the artworld... especially in New York City. Further the only references to it are a press release and in passing; not the subject of an article; not reviewed. Nor was any publication produced from it. For these reasons it should be removed. If the exhibition is mentioned in detail by several reputable news sources (NYT, NBC), it's notable. -- Michael Bednarek (talk) 06:25, 2 September 2019 (UTC)Reply
But it's not a noteworthy exhibition i.e. it was mentioned in reputable sources only in passing as part of the sticker phenomenon, not on it's own merit. Again, in the world that this is supposedly relevant to – The artworld – It's not an exhibition that was important, nor in a venue that was important. Nor has he exhibited since from what I can find. It remains but is a major stretch. Regards Hesperian Nguyen (talk)
I didn't express myself correctly. I agree that the exhibition wasn't particularly notable, but the exhibition is not the subject of this article, BNE is. The major reason for the exhibition's coverage was BNE and the big mural. Thus, the coverage from these sources is part of showing notability of the subject. -- Michael Bednarek (talk) 00:52, 3 September 2019 (UTC)Reply
