Austin Airways Destinations

edit

Hi, I'd like very much to clarify few misinformations written in your otherwise wonderful web encyclopedia. In Destinations column you listed Severn Ontario as Austin Airways most northerly destination. That is not true. It regularly flew scheduled flights up to Eastern Hudson's Bay. It's destinations being Kuujjuaraapik, (Great Whale River as it was known then.) Inukjuak, (Port Harrison as it was known then) Puvirnituk,(Povungnituk, as it was spelled then.) Salluit (Sugluk, as it was spelled then.) And Ivujivik from mid 1960s until it defuncted in late 1980s. It also flew weekly scheduled and cargo flights all the way to Kingait, Nunavut (Cape Dorset, Northwest Territories, as it was known then) as well as being chartered even further North and Northwest sometimes. I am a resident of Ivujivik Quebec, the most northerly settlement in province of Quebec and the last stop of Ausitin Airways before it started heading South to its base in Timmons. I know this to be true. Thank you for your time......Uqittuk Mark/ Inuit (Eskimo, as known then). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.165.218.162 (talk) 14:29, 25 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
